Obituary of Cristobal Coss
Cristobal Guerra Coss, 87, of Bay City, our loving, hardworking, and most generous husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa “Papoo,” brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on the afternoon of Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Brian’s House. Cristobal was born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on July 10, 1932, the son of the late Margarito and Dolores (Guerra) Coss. On June 9, 1955, he was united in marriage to the former Maria Amada Zaragoza, who survives. After 30 years of faithful service, Cristobal retired from Michigan Sugar. A true servant of the Lord, Cristobal was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s in Saginaw. Above all, Cristobal enjoyed time spent with his family, especially taking care of his great-grandchildren following his retirement. He will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for generations to come. Cristobal leaves to carry on his legacy, his devoted wife, Maria, and children: Juan (Perla) Coss, Maria (Jose “Alvaro”) Mireles; former daughter-in-law, Norma Coss; grandchildren, Maria (Philip) Jezierski, Christina (Adam) Kraft, Monica (Kyle) Hanley, and Norma L. Coss (Kevin Chase); great-grandchildren, Sophia, Alexis, Caleb, Kylie, Marissa, and one more great-granddaughter on the way; sisters, Elvera, Josepha, Juana, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
