Butch was born on August 31, 1940 in Detroit, the son of the late Hugh Woolman Allin and Laura (Davis) Allin. Butch graduated from Deckerville High School in 1958 and went on to answer the call of his country, serving in the U.S. Army for two years. In addition to working as a mortician and registered nurse, Butch held over 84 jobs, he was a small business owner, the Mayor of Deckerville, milk man, farmer, school bus driver, truck driver, and handy man – always willing to help others. On October 11, 1998, Butch married the love of his life, the former Christine Revette in Reno, Nevada. He belonged to the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and was an AA fellowship of 34 years. Those who knew Butch will forever remember him of his love for camping, playing solitaire, driving his grandson’s corvette, taking motorcycle rides, traveling, family vacations to Florida, and above all being with his family and grandchildren – they were the light of his life. Butch will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered for generations to come. Butch leaves to carry on his legacy, his wife of 21 years, Christine; children, Kathleen (Martin J.
