Obituary of Floyd William Fritts
Floyd William Fritts, 93, of Munger, our dearest husband, dad, step-dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather was born into eternal life on June 29, 2019, at Brian’s House. Floyd was born in Detroit on June 18, 1926, the son of the late Floyd William and Regina (Buechel) Fritts. Floyd loved and enjoyed his family above all; Truly the most loving and caring man. He will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered for generations to come. Floyd leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Patricia Ann; daughters, Susan Fritts, Mary Beth (Joe) Kubera; son, Matthew Fritts; step-daughters, Pauline (Bob) DuBay, Susan (Rob) Schmidt, and Barbara (Thomas) Carter; step-son, Stephen J. Large; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three nephews and countless friends. In addition to his parents, Floyd was welcomed into heaven by his son William Fritts; daughter-in-law, Victoria Fritts; granddaughter, Morgan Engelhardt; brother, Myron Fritts, and his sister, Geraldine LaBelle. Floyd’s family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, July 29, 2019, from 9:00 AM until the time of Floyd’s 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church) 614 Pine St., Essexville. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with interment to be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
