Obituary of Jennifer Ann (Psotka) Kemerer

Jennifer Ann (Psotka) Kemerer of Freeland, beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend passed away unexpectedly in her home on the evening of Friday, April 26, 2019 at the age of 55.

Jennifer was born May 28, 1963 at St. Luke's Hospital in Saginaw to Jerry and Donna (Knight) Psotka. She graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1981. Jen was always a stickler for a clean home, which led to her starting and running her own cleaning business, where she wowed all of her clients with her passion for cleaning, and her sparkling personality.

On October 1, 1988, Jennifer married her soulmate, the love of her life and her best friend, Mark Kemerer. Mark and Jen were inseparable; the epitome of a perfect marriage. In their spare time, they enjoyed doing anything outdoors from boating and fishing, to gardening. On a daily basis you could find the lovebirds laughing, joking, and holding hands as they took their dog, Rosie, for a walk in the park.

One of Jennifer's most admired abilities was her cooking and baking. She could often be found in the kitchen whipping something up for friends, either because they were going through a hard time, or simply because she knew they would enjoy it.

Among Jennifer's many talents and passions, she considered her family to be her greatest accomplishment. Jen could never stop raving about her husband, children, or the news of her learning she was going to be a grandmother. Beyond her immediate and large extended family, anyone who walked into her home she considered to be part of the family.

Jennifer was predeceased by her father, Jerry Psotka on June 4, 2018. She is survived by her mother, Donna Psotka; brother, Victor Psotka; her soulmate, Mark Kemerer; her son, Anthony (Brittany) Jeffers; daughter, Amanda Kemerer (Michael Freeman); mother-in-law, Barbara Gray, along with the extended sides of both the Kemerer and Knight families.

Jennifer was a beautiful woman with an amazing soul. She had a smile that could light up the room and an infectious laugh. She was taken away from us far too soon, and far too quickly. Jennifer will be sorely missed, but will remain loved and never forgotten as her memory lives on in our hearts forever.

In accordance with Jennifer's wishes, cremation will take place with a small private family gathering to take place at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at
