Obituary of Reichy Theodore Cordova
Reichy “Rich” Theodore Cordova, 66, of Essexville, our fun loving, and caring brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2019 at his home. Rich was born in Omer, Michigan on October 26, 1952, the son of the late Robert Lee and Alma E. (Reichle) Cordova. He graduated from AuGres Sims High School and went on to hold several wonderful jobs, including twelve years at B&W Bottling Company, working at New Dimensions, Meijer, along with bell-ringing at the Salvation Army. Rich enjoyed bowling, telling stories of the past with his friends and family while making bonfires on the beach. Rich truly lived life to the fullest and his comedic character will be missed dearly. Reichy leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Christine Lee Cresswell and Rory Lance (Linda) Cordova; and his nieces and nephews, Lyndsey Nilles, Joshua Cresswell, Jason Cresswell, Carly Molidor, Daniel Cordova, Corey Koryciak and Kyle Koryciak, along with his best friend and companion, his dog, Nick. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Cremation has occurred and a Life Celebration in honor of Rich will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at New Dimensions in Bay City. Memorial contributions in honor of Rich may be directed to New Dimensions of Bay City. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
