Obituary of Rose Marie (Partyka) Moldenhauer
Rose Marie Moldenhauer, 76, of Bay City, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born into eternal life on the afternoon of Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her home. Rose was born in Rogers City, Michigan on November 7, 1941, the daughter of the late Harold and Theresa (Kapala) Partyka. While at a service station, she met Gary Ferris Moldenhauer. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on July 13, 1963. Their fifty-five years were blessed with two sons and countless memories. Throughout life, Rose enjoyed genealogy, traveling, reading, and time spent with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She retired from administration at Delta College and was a member of MARSP and BARSP. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gary and two sons, Stephen (Dolores) Moldenhauer and David (Michelle) Moldenhauer. Rose was the loving grandmother of Xylina (James) Allender, Xenia Dillon, Xanadu (Daniel) Moldenhauer, and Michael Moldenhauer. Also surviving are four great-grandsons; siblings, Larry (Dorey) Partyka, Mike (Mable) Partyka, and Sue (Jack) Fobear; brother-in-law, Harold (Carole) Moldenhauer, along with many nieces and nephews. Rose’s family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 9:30 AM until Rose’s 10:30 AM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. A reception will follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
