Obituary of Bonnie Lou Eischer

Bonnie Lou Eischer, 69, of Bay City, our caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at her home. Bonnie was born in Saginaw on March 1, 1948, the daughter of the late Floyd and Ruth (Klenke) Bennett. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School and met Larry Eischer while cruising the Saginaw Strip. It was love at first sight for Bonnie and they were married on November 5, 1966. Bonnie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She worked at Chemical Bank in payment systems and had her own ceramic business. Later, Bonnie was the shoe manager at Sherman & Sons. She enjoyed crafts, camping, traveling, color tours, weekend road trips, playing cards, baking, spending time with family, spoiling her grandchildren, sharing her opinions, boating and fishing, snowmobiling in the U.P., and above all, supporting her grandchildren in all their activities. Her love for her family was unmatched; Bonnie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved for generations to come. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 51 years, Larry and their children: David (Diane) Eischer and Jennifer Eischer; grandchildren, Matthew and Tyler Eischer, and Makenze Bridges; sister, Sandy (Larry) Putnam; in-laws, Sharon Murray and Diane Eischer, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was welcomed home to heaven by her sister, Shirlee Ott; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Edna Eischer, and brother-in-law, Ron Eischer. Bonnie’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 3:00 PM until Bonnie’s 4:00 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Pastor Paul Kruse will officiate with a reception to follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Bay County. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
