Obituary of Mark Michael Maul
Mark Michael Maul, 65, of Bay City, our hard working and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend went home to heaven on the morning of Thursday, December 7, 2017, with his family by his side. Mark was born on July 11, 1952 in Flint, the son of William and Maxine (Jozwiak) Maul. Mark graduated from John Glenn High School and went on to work for the Iron Workers Union #25 for 26 years. After retirement, Mark stayed busy working for the Bay County Library System for 13 years. On August 16, 1987, Mark married the love of his life, the former Lynette Everson. He will forever be remembered for his love of traveling, having hitchhiked across the United States twice, and for his unwavering commitment to the Detroit Lions. Mark also loved golfing, reading, cooking, and boating – always enjoying the Tall Ships when they came to town. Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Lynette; their two children, Angela Harris and Jeffrey Maul (special friend, Katie Grocholski); grandchildren, Daniel Gillman and Benjamin Harris; his mother, Maxine Maul; brother, Bill (Kathy) Maul; brother-in-law, Tom Everson; many nieces and nephews; his loving cats, Tiki and Oreo, along with many friends.
