Obituary of Timothy Wayne Adams

Timothy Wayne Adams, 65, of Essexville, our active, hardworking, and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend went home to heaven on the morning of Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Toni & Trish House, with his family by his side. Tim was born in Bay City on June 21, 1952 to the late, Ralph and Mary (Burns) Adams. Tim graduated from Central High School and went on to study at Delta College. He worked as an electrician at Nexteer for many years, known to his co-workers as “Sparky” or “Doogie” and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Tim was an avid reader, growing up you could always find him reading a book in a tree, he was a collector of Stephen King novels, enjoyed Marvel & DC comics, and loved riding his Harley Davidson. Tim also loved to karaoke, which is how he met the love of his life, the former Christie Reed. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on January 30, 2004.  Tim always said his family was his greatest life accomplishment, his two children were the light of his life and made him so very proud. “E.E. Wayne”, as his family  knew him, will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Tim leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 14 years, Christie; their two amazing children, Joshua James Adams and Taylor Lee Adams; siblings, Joan P. Rivet, James E. (Keryl) Adams, Ralph L. (Ruth Ann) Adams, and Mary M. Witbrodt; mother-in-law, Patricia J. Ballard, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Tim was welcomed home to heaven by his twin brother, Thomas L. Adams; sisters, Jean J. Adams and Judy C. Barber; brothers-in-law, Thomas J. Rivet, Larry R. Witbrodt, and Peter R. Barber Sr., and father-in-law, James E. Reed. Tim’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp.
