Obituary of Carol Ann Brink
Carol Ann Brink, 73, of Hampton Twp., our loving, caring, and funny wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Sunday, August 20, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region with her husband and three sons by her side. Carol was born in Bay City on August 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Carl and Wanda (Kazmierski) Gawlak. She was a 1961 graduate of Bay City Central. While in high school, Carol met John Brink. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on May 21, 1966. Carol retired as a bank teller and was most known for her love of reading and family, especially her grandchildren. Carol was always there to support and follow all of her children, and later her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events. Her compassionate and kind ways will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered for generations to come. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, John and their three sons: James (Amy) Brink, Scott (Jacquie) Brink, and Keith (Stacy) Brink. Carol was the unconditional loving grandma of Hunter, Hallie, Amber, Sterling, Kaden, Josh, Ryan, and Kyle (Monica) Melton. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her great-grandkids, Colton and Evalynn Roznowski; sister, Joann (Mark) Rajewski; brother-in-law, Owen Benjamin, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Carol was welcomed home to heaven by her sister, Sandy Benjamin.
