Obituary of Richard Allan Mieloch
Richard Allan Mieloch, 70, of Bay City, our dedicated and loyal father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at The Carriage House. Rick was born in Bay City on April 23, 1947, the son of the late Arthur and Angeline (Latocki) Mieloch. After being drafted into the U.S. Army, Rick served from 1966-1968. He worked at General Motors – Buick City and then went on to attend school in Plainwell, where he learned the craft of watch making. Most recently, Rick was a dedicated maintenance worker at Bay Valley, where he was loved and respected by many residents. Those who knew Rick will always remember his love for cars (especially racing them), and most recently his joy for participating in 5k walks. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Michelle and husband, A.J. Bradley; grandchildren, Gabriel, Noah, Alyzabeth, and Heaven; siblings: Judy Mieloch, Thomas and wife, Linda Mieloch; sister-in-law, Peggy Prasek, along with his nieces and nephews, Amy, Christine, Jennifer, Jill, Lesley, James, Mark, Sharon, Troy, Bill. In addition to his parents, Rick was welcomed home to heaven by his siblings, Gary Mieloch and Ken and wife, Diane Mieloch. Rick’s family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of Rick’s 4:00 PM Funeral Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. A Celebration of Life Reception will immediately follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s. Private interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
