Obituary of Norma G. Kline
Norma G. Kline, 88, of Essexville, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at her home. Norma was born in Hampton Twp. on December 27, 1928, the daughter of the late David and Edith (Erno) Tacey. She was united in marriage to John W. Kline on July 20, 1957 and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1983. Norma worked for many years at Krysziak’s Meat Market and loved camping at East Tawas. Norma was known for her strong opinions and love of gambling. She always believed “BINGO” was for seniors, so Norma took up other forms of gambling and was a frequent rider on the casino bus. In her younger years, Norma enjoyed deer hunting, along with spending time on the Saginaw Bay ice fishing and snowmobiling. She is survived by her brother, Thomas (Janet) Tacey and family, along with many nieces and nephews, and her many friends at Meijer’s on Pine and Independent Bank in Essexville. In addition to her parents and her husband, Norma was preceded in death by her son, John Ronald Kline; her siblings: Mayme DeBats, Lillian Jacobs, Viola Page, Irene Zacharko, Madeline Connelly, Elsie Connelly, Loretta Cartwright, Owen Tacey, Floyd Tacey, Roy Tacey, Ray Tacey, Ed Tacey, and one infant sister; along with her companion of twenty-five years, Andy Eurich. Norma’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 12:00 Noon until the time of Norma’s 1:00 PM Tribute Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Save Brian’s House.
