Obituary of Robert Lee Ellison
Robert Lee “Bob” Ellison, 69, of Bay City, our dedicated, funny, and casino-loving dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on the morning of April 11, 2017 at his home. Bob was born in Bay City on July 30, 1947 to the late Lloyd Ellison and Mary (Preston) Rodriguez. Bob was a lifelong truck driver, he drove for over 40 years, taking him all across the country. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed reading, fishing, and loved going to the casino. Bob’s four children were the light of his life and his greatest accomplishment. He will be dearly missed. Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his four children, Robert Ellison Jr., Matthew (Beverly) Ellison, Kenneth (Laura) Ellison, and Angela (Cody) Dutcher; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Sandy Karr, Barbara Ellison, Floyd “Butch” Ellison, John Rodriguez, and Ricky Rodriguez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was welcomed home to heaven by his siblings, David Ellison, Kay Badgerow, Donny Ellison, Joanne Mindykowski, and Irene Fisk. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp.
