Obituary of Lori Stefanski
Lori Ann Stefanski, 38, of Bay City, our beautiful and courageous wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on the evening of Thursday, January 12, 2017 at The Toni & Trish House after a courageous battle with cancer. Lori was born in Bay City on May 5, 1978, the daughter of Edward and Ann (Verhaeghe) Zachariah. She graduated from Garber High School with the Class of 1996 and went on to work as a technician at Bay Eye Care for the past 17 years. On a blind date, Lori met Kenneth “Kenny” Stefanski. They fell in love and were united in marriage on May 19, 2007. Their marriage was blessed with two beautiful children and countless memories. Throughout Lori’s battle with cancer, she always kept the faith and was very active with her Relay for Life Team, “The Rack Pack.” Lori had many hobbies throughout life; however, baking, shopping, and most of all, spending time with those she loved always seemed to make their way to the top of her list. Left to carry on her legacy is her husband, Kenny; children, Isabell and Zach; mother, Ann (Verhaeghe) Zachariah; father, Edward (Angela) Zachariah; brother, Kevin (Angela) Zachariah; mother-in-law, Janice Stefanski; brother-in-law, John (Bridget) Stefanski; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Gina) Stefanski, Becky (Robert) McComb; her bestie, Becky (Dufresne) Johnson, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family at Bay Eye Care, and countless friends. Lori was welcomed home to heaven by her grandparents, Gaston and Dora Verhaeghe, James and Edith (Zachariah) Albach; father-in-law, Jack Stefanski, along with many aunts and uncles. Lori’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Vigil for Lori at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N.
