Obituary of Orville Kintner
Jeff Kintner, 71, of Bay City, our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Jeff was born in Bay City on March 10, 1945, the son of the late Orville Jefferson Kintner, Sr. and Norma (Gilkenson). Known for his excellent work ethic, Jeff retired from the City of Bay City. Always handy, and very skilled, Jeff will forever be remembered for his ability to always be of help. While on a blind date, he met the former Linda Wark. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on July 8, 1972. Their marriage was blessed with 44 years, four children, and countless memories. In addition to his love for family, Jeff was known for his devoted passion to the craft of woodworking and tinkering in the garage. In his younger years, he also enjoyed oil painting, camping, and hunting. Jeff leaves Linda to carry on his legacy, along with their four children: Daniel Kintner, Nancee Kintner, Jamie (Chris) Tellner, and Jason Kintner. He was the most loving grandfather of Taylor Kintner, Leah Tellner, and Chloe Tellner. He is also survived by his brother, Chuck (Carol) Kintner; in-laws, Ed & Debbie Wark, Jack & Sandy Wark, Vickie & Jon Parsley, along with many nieces and nephews. Jeff was welcomed home to heaven by his parents; brother, Carl Kintner, and sister, Kara Roberts.
